Little Bigs is a burger joint and wine bar from Bryan Caswell and Bill Floyd, the owners of REEF, the seafood restaurant featuring primarily Gulf Coast catch and recently named The #1 Seafood Restaurant in the U.S. by Bon Appétit Magazine.

And the name, Little Bigs? Well, the story goes like this: Bryan Caswell’s father (aka Pops) had two uncles – two uncles who looked nothing alike. One was a really, really big guy who was very soft-spoken; the other was a small, scrappy guy who was a real spitfire. Uncle #1, the big one, was always called Big Little Man and Uncle #2, the little one, was always called Little Big Man – a really big man in a really small package…the real inspiration behind the name for the little burgers with the really big taste.

What’s Little is Big on the Menu

The Superstar at Little Bigs is Caswell’s signature slider: a 3oz., juicy, hand-formed, all-beef patty (we grind the meat fresh on-site every day -- this burger won’t ever see the inside of the deep-freeze!) topped with caramelized onions on a soft, fresh-baked yeast roll. In fact, fresh hot buns come out of the oven at Little Bigs every few hours.

Three sliders make a half-pounder of a meal but you can also order them one by one (and you won’t be able to resist). In addition to the beef slider, Little Bigs offers an all-natural, boneless, skinless breaded chicken slider, a vegetarian black bean slider and now a Carolina-style pulled pork slider. And French fries? Ours our hand-cut, made-to-order and well worth the four-minute wait.

Drinks Play It Big, Too

Unlike other burger joints, Little Bigs has wine (really, really good wine) at near-retail prices and beer (really, really good beer). But you won’t want to miss any of our frozen treats: our hand-spun Ice Cream Shakes and Frozen Joe™ (a creamy frozen concoction with Chocolate Praline-flavored Katz Coffee); and (for grown-ups only) The Dude™ (a "White Russian” milkshake -- after drinking, you won’t have a choice but to abide) and The Big Pink™ (a Sangria Slushy that goes down easy).
